Happy Labor Day!

Today Grammy, Jack and I went to the Franklin Park Zoo to visit Jack's friends - the elephants. He could stand there all day and watch them. When we arrived they were getting their daily bath.

Jack liked hanging on the railing with all the other kids... watching the zookeepers do their jobs. The elephants were really cool - they don't make that "elephant noise" while in captivity... only in the wild. That was a bit of a disappointment.

The giraffes were really cool... and tall.

Grammy helped Jack get a better spot to check out the sheep - who were very very dirty. Ick.

I think this picture is of us checking out the wildebeast. They didn't do much.

A welcome sign made by Jack during bath time. He spelled this himself. Yes - he's a genius.
